Did you realise that Easter is defined by the Stars; or rather the phases of the Moon?

The place of Easter within the calendar of the Church is defined as  first Sunday after the full Moon after “when the length of the day and night is equal”.

The Western Church is “in front” of the Orthodox Church when it comes Easter,

as the western Church is using  the Gregorian Calendar and the Orthodox  the Julian.

 

Dit you know by the way that the word Computer was used on someone being able to predict the date for next Easter Celebration?
